Senior Project Developer

About the Role

Worthington Design & Remodel is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Developer to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in helping homeowners bring their renovation visions to life — from the initial design concept through project proposal and handoff to production.

The ideal candidate has a balance of sales acumen, construction/design expertise, and client relationship skills. You’ll guide clients through the remodeling process, present creative design solutions, and drive profitable project wins that reflect Worthington’s reputation for craftsmanship and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial consultation through signed contract.
  • Meet with clients in their home to evaluate design needs and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with design team to develop layouts, material selections, and budget estimates.
  • Present project proposals, handle revisions, and close sales in alignment with company goals.
  • Manage project pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and strong customer communication.
  • Coordinate with project managers and production staff to ensure a seamless handoff from design to build.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge on current remodeling trends, materials, and vendor options.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals based on project volume and profitability.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in residential remodeling, design-build, or construction sales.
  • Strong understanding of home remodeling processes, materials, and construction terminology.
  • Proven record of closing design or construction-related projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Ability to read floor plans and basic construction drawings.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office (experience with CoConstruct, Buildertrend, or similar tools preferred).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple client projects simultaneously.

Worthington Design & Remodeling, an award-winning residential remodeling company located in Carmel, IN, is hiring a Production Coordinator.

OPPORTUNITY:
As a Production Coordinator at Worthington, you will be part of a team that delivers high-quality remodeling projects on time and within budget while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Using your organizational skills and thoroughness, your work during the pre-construction phase will ensure all details are finalized to set the team up for success during construction.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Collaborate with designers, estimators, and project managers to review and gather information about project scope, materials, and timelines.
  • Create project checklists to manage sub and material details and help prevent potential delays or issues.
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-construction meetings with internal team members along with clients.
  • Track the global production schedule and work with production team to identify any concerns or bottlenecks.
  • Manage subcontractor agreements, COIs, and W9s.
  • Oversee post-construction warranty process by helping to manage claims and coordinate repairs.
  • Prepare reports and create spreadsheets as needed.

SUCCESS FACTORS

  • 2+ years of general office, accounting, or project coordination experience.
  • Extremely well organized, detail & number-oriented, efficient and reliable.
  • An independent self-starter who takes responsibility for their work.
  • Deadline driven with a natural sense of urgency.
  • Must be computer savvy with strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
  • Professional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Desire to be a key team member that actively contributes to the overall success of our company.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Worthington Design & Remodeling will reward your talents with salary of $50-$55K.  Your comprehensive benefit package includes health, vision, life, 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation & holidays. Our office is conveniently located in the north suburbs of Indianapolis. This is a full-time, office-based opportunity with some flexibility on your schedule.
