Built in 2003 in Zionsville’s Long Branch Estates, this home’s owners were ready to transform their primary bathroom from builder-basic and bland to custom and contemporary. The homeowners wanted to retain the existing layout, but challenged us to make the space feel more bright, airy, and modern.
An Elevated Aesthetic
A luxurious soaking tub replaced the original deck-style tub and wall-to-wall carpeting. Porcelain tile in place of carpet immediately elevated the room’s aesthetic. Built-in shelving featuring beautiful sconces surrounds the tub nook, providing additional storage and display space, as well as privacy.
An Elegant Material Mix
The shower was upgraded with a frameless glass enclosure, and features Calacatta Gold marble and brushed gold fixtures, giving the shower space an upgraded spa-like feel. Tonal wallpaper, butcherblock counters stained in a rich tone, and brushed gold fixtures complete the bathroom’s elevated aesthetic.
