The wine grotto influence was brought into a wine cellar as well, and the elegance was carried over to the full bath and bedroom.
Second Home: These homeowners wanted a separate space for an adult child coming home to take care of his elderly father. Community space, as well as bedrooms for visitors and a home office were in the design as well.
Hobby Central: This busy family wanted their basement remodel to serve many needs. They needed a family space for movie night, a work area for a home business, a practice space for budding musicians, a home gym and the room to support an avid ichthyologist.
Sports Central: These avid sports fans wanted a space for the ultimate at-home game experience. Being a sports fan does not mean you can’t have a bit of luxury too. Gorgeous wainscoting brings the feel of a club to this lower level. An abundance of shelving and wall space is ready for the memorabilia.
A Bit of the Pub: Entertainment for the adult members of this family was high on the priority list for these homeowners. A love of beer inspired a pub-like feel for the space, including a built-in tap. A media room easily seen from the bar area makes watching the game easy. A Foosball table tops it off.
