Location: Indianapolis, IN
Project: Master Bathroom
Style: Traditional
SHOWER BEFORE:
The existing shower was dated. The tub was too small and the ledge was not functional for the homeowners. The goal was to keep a shower/tub combination, but make it more functional and modern for re-sale.
SHOWER AFTER:
A deep drop-in tub with a Cambria quartz tub deck replaced the smaller tub. An adjustable chrome handheld showerhead was installed on the back end of the shower to allow the homeowner the option to either sit on the rear bench with access to water or wash the dog. The shower features 8″ x 10″ Carrara Gris subway tile with a custom picture framed detail on the back wall of the shower.
VANITY BEFORE:
The vanity before lacked countertop space and functional storage. The drop-in sinks were a pain to keep clean and made cleaning the countertops a headache. The goal was to enlarge the vanity to provide more storage and countertop space.
VANITY AFTER:
Extending the new black vanity by 6 inches allowed for wider center drawers and more countertop space for getting ready in the mornings. Reverse sink bases gave additional storage compared to the upper false doors. Undermount sinks create a seamless look and make cleaning a breeze!
The homeowner’s grandmother had flooring in her home with random flowers. To honor her grandmother’s memory, black flower embellishments were incorporated into the design of the bathroom’s Hex Matt white tile floor.
TIMELESS DESIGN:
Polished chrome hardware, lighting and plumbing were used to create a timeless and traditional design that is sure to cater to all crowds for resale purposes.
