A Luxury Kitchen Pantry & Laundry Remodel in Fishers

This Fishers multi-room remodel transformed a dated kitchen, pantry, laundry room, powder bath, storage closet, and mud locker into a brighter, more organized main-level living hub with custom cabinetry, MSI quartz, upgraded lighting, thoughtful storage, and a fully integrated design-build process.

The Challenge and the Vision

The original main level had several hardworking spaces that were not supporting the way the homeowners wanted to live. The kitchen needed a more refined layout, stronger storage, better appliance placement, improved lighting, and a more finished relationship to the nearby dining and breakfast areas. The pantry, laundry, shower room, powder bath, coat closet, and bedroom areas also offered opportunities to rethink how the home handled daily routines.

Worthington approached the project as a coordinated kitchen remodeling in Indianapolis and Fishers main-level remodel, not a single-room update. The goal was to create a kitchen that felt open, polished, and highly functional while giving the surrounding rooms a clearer purpose.

A Kitchen Designed with Storage, Light and Flow

The new kitchen brings a more tailored design language to the heart of the home. Aspect Maple Tundra cabinetry gives the perimeter a bright, classic foundation, while the island introduces Aspect Maple Rosemary for a grounded, natural contrast. The result feels fresh without feeling plain, with a palette that balances white cabinetry, green painted cabinetry, warm wood flooring, black hardware, and soft gray tile.

The island became a stronger working and gathering surface with MSI Carrara Mist quartz and storage planned into the base. The large surface supports prep, serving, seating, and daily life without crowding the room. New pendant lighting reinforces the island as the center of the space, while updated recessed lighting improves the overall brightness.

The sink wall was redesigned with a Blanco Precis Silgranit undermount double basin sink in Volcano Gray, a Delta Renaldi touchless pull-down faucet in Matte Black, an instant hot water dispenser, and a garbage disposal air switch. These details support everyday function while keeping the counter area clean and composed.

Range Wall Cabinetry with a Stronger Architectural Presence

The range wall became one of the most important visual improvements in the remodel. After the beam and bulkhead approach was revised, Worthington adjusted the wall cabinet and hood design so the cabinetry could take better advantage of the taller ceiling height. The final design includes a taller hood, five wall cabinets at the range wall, stacked wall cabinet proportions, seedy glass doors, and puck lighting.

This change gave the range wall a more complete and intentional presence. The Bosch dual fuel range anchors the cooking zone, while the custom hood and stacked cabinetry create symmetry and height. The backsplash combines TS Splendor Blanco 3×12 porcelain tile with a TS Laura Ashley Coralie Fresh Green 6×6 accent tile behind the range, adding a subtle pattern that connects to the green island and nook cabinetry.

Mont Blanc quartzite adds a natural stone surface with movement and depth, while FreePower countertop charging brings convenience into the kitchen without adding visual clutter. These details help the kitchen serve both everyday routines and entertaining.

A Purposeful Nook Created from Unused Space

During framing, the team discovered a void that could be turned into something useful rather than closed off. Worthington converted that unused space into a purposeful nook with a base cabinet, wood-stained countertop, two wood-stained floating shelves, recessed tape lighting, a new outlet, and tile on the back wall.

The nook adds a small but memorable moment to the kitchen. It supports entertaining, beverage service, and display while using the same Maple Rosemary finish as the island. The stained wood shelves and countertop tie back to the mud locker and pantry shelving, creating continuity from one area to the next.

A Pantry That Works Harder Every Day

The new pantry gives the home a more organized support zone just outside the main kitchen. Aspect Maple Tundra cabinetry, MSI Carrara Miksa quartz, a beverage refrigerator, and site-built red oak floating shelves create a practical space for storage, small appliances, beverages, and overflow prep.

The pantry also introduces a more intentional transition between the garage entry, kitchen, and daily routines. A frosted glass pocket door keeps the room connected but still allows it to close when needed. Floating shelves stained to coordinate with the hardwood flooring add warmth and keep frequently used items easy to see and reach.

A Laundry Room Built for Function and Finish

The laundry room was reworked into a finished utility space with cabinetry, quartz countertops, a sink, open shelving, hanging rods, and better appliance placement. Aspect Maple Monorail Silver cabinetry gives the room a softer gray tone that separates it from the kitchen while still feeling connected to the overall palette.

MSI Carrara Miksa quartz provides a durable work surface for folding and sorting. The laundry sink was revised to a Blanco Performa Silgranit undermount single basin sink in Volcano Gray, keeping the sink style consistent with the kitchen while resolving availability during ordering. Delta’s Essa pull-down bar and prep faucet in Arctic Stainless supports utility use without feeling industrial.

The laundry room also includes red oak floating shelves and hanging rods, which make the space more practical for the way laundry actually happens. Instead of feeling like a utility corner, it now works as a planned room with storage, surface area, and visual finish.

Mud Locker, Storage and Daily Organization

The remodel also improved the home’s daily arrival and storage sequence. The mud locker includes Aspect Maple Tundra cabinetry, a site-built red oak countertop, a red oak hook backer, and homeowner-provided hooks. It gives the garage entry a defined landing place for coats, bags, and everyday items.

The new storage room adds another layer of organization. Worthington salvaged and reused the pocket door between the powder bath and shower room, then created a new storage area with shelving and hanging space. This is the kind of behind-the-scenes improvement that makes a multi-room remodel feel worthwhile long after the project is complete.

A Powder Bath with a More Finished Presence

The powder bath was refreshed with new applied molding details, a homeowner-provided vanity, a Delta Geist widespread bathroom faucet in Brushed Nickel, an American Standard Cadet Pro toilet, a new vanity light, a mirror, and a site-built floating shelf. The updated wall treatment gives the room more architectural structure without overwhelming the smaller footprint.

The powder bath now feels better aligned with the main-level remodel. It is still compact and practical, but the trim, vanity, lighting, mirror, and finishes make it feel more complete.

Why This Fishers Multi-Room Remodel Works

This project succeeds because it does more than update visible finishes. It reorganizes how the main level works. The kitchen gained better storage, better lighting, stronger appliance placement, and a more refined focal point at the range wall. The pantry became a useful support space. The laundry room became a finished work zone. The mud locker and storage room gave daily routines a place to land. The powder bath gained polish and architectural detail.

For homeowners planning home remodeling in Fishers Indiana, this project shows the value of looking beyond one room. When connected spaces are planned together, the home feels more organized, more cohesive, and better suited to daily life.

Pro Tip

When a remodel touches the kitchen, pantry, laundry, powder bath, and storage areas, the smartest design decisions usually happen before construction begins. Align the floor plan, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, and appliance locations first. The finishes will look better when the function underneath them has already been solved.
