Built in 1901 on the Old North side of Indianapolis, this loft is located in a historic building that originally housed the Indianapolis Power & Light Co. Our team was tasked with reimagining the space to make a statement, while seamlessly blending the modern style of the homeowners with the building’s historic architecture.

Intentional Design
Increasing the size of the firebox helped to make the design feel more authentic and intentional, while floating it above the floor delivers a dose of drama that keeps the space from feeling cluttered. The hearth’s extended overhang helps to balance out the ceiling bulkhead and anchor the space.
